Um, can someone say, little gem in a random spot?!

Yes, how much more perfect can that be?!

Anyway, my Milanese friend asks what my partner would like to have for dinner and he brings us to this awesome little gem where all their pasta is homemade. It was a place to die for. The sauces were no where like what I usually make and super authentic.

Definitely get the gnocchi. It's like heaven had s€x with your mouth and had little children in the form of potato pasta. Best gnocchi I've ever had in my life. It was soft, yet somewhat pleasantly doughy and yet delicious. The sauce was nothing to write home about, but if a gnocchi is bad, no amount of sauce covers it.

The other thing to get is the Streta with Chicory. It's cooked in a slightly buttery oil and doesn't need ANY sauce really. These people are real masters, and sitting at the service table made it feel all the more like eating in an italian chef's home. Now, when do I next go back to Milan?!

One of the best restaurants in Milan. The food is amazing, and the environment lovely..it feels like home. It's a family owned place, driven by people with PASSION.
It's a laid back, chill place, don't expect a fancy cool modern restaurant, it's more of a sweet real italian spot. Try the Gramigna with Salsiccia (sausage) or thw Cotoletta alla bolognese..you gonna love it. And..omg the home made desserts!!!!!! Yeah you will leave this place full with a big smile and maybe 2 or 3 more pounds:)
Ah..also, I can't believe the prices are so cheap compared the overpriced places in Milan that mostly take advantage of tourists.
I don't live in Italy anymore, but this spot is still my favorite when I visit. Booking is recommended.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I sat down with a friend and was immediately served bread, meat and the waiter came over so quickly. We asked for recommendations and were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the dishes we ordered were. Fabulous. Homemade. Delicious.

Solid family-style food. Solid service. Good value for money. Nothing special but quite an enjoyable, authentic meal at a neighborhood restaurant away from the tourists.
